FanTix is an early-stage startup building online ticketing software for schools. The work started with a simple observation: school events are important to their communities, but the tools used to sell tickets and manage the door often feel harder than they should.
Why we started FanTix
A lot of schools still run events with cash boxes, paper ticket rolls, spreadsheets, and someone trying to keep count at the entrance. That can work, until the line gets long, a volunteer has a question, or someone needs to know how many tickets were actually sold.
FanTix exists because schools deserve a ticketing product that fits the way they operate. Not a concert venue system squeezed into a school workflow, and not a pile of disconnected tools held together at the last minute.
What we are trying to make easier
The product is focused on the basics that matter at real school events: creating a clear event page, selling tickets online, sending QR-code tickets, seeing orders without digging, and scanning people in quickly at the door.
That means school games, theater performances, dances, fundraisers, graduation events, and the smaller community events that still need to feel organized and trustworthy.
Who we are building for
FanTix is for the people who actually carry the event: school administrators, athletic directors, theater directors, office staff, finance teams, volunteers, parents, students, and the community members buying tickets.
The aim is not to make school events feel corporate. It is to remove the avoidable stress around payments, tickets, order questions, and admission so staff can focus on the event itself.
Where we are headed
FanTix is still young, and that is part of the point. We are building the platform around focused school workflows first: online checkout, clear event management, digital tickets, scanning, reporting, and reliable payment setup.
As the product grows, the goal is to stay close to the people running events and keep the software practical, calm, and easy to trust.
